A little news about ...
SUBSCRIBER REFUNDS

Dear Subscriber:

Along with the amazing outpouring of calls and emails we have received lamenting the end of The Gaited Horse, we've had a few that were concerned with the balance of paid subscriptions and the unprecedented lateness of our final, Summer 2007, issue.

It's surprising how much is involved with closing down a business, but rest assured, we have not forgotten those who have supported us with their subscription dollars.

We'll be contacting each and every subscriber, starting with those who have been with us the longest first. So as soon as the final issue goes out, you'll be hearing from us about your options for any outstanding issues that we still owe you, one of which is a full refund for unsent issues. A couple of other options will be presented as well, which definitely offer a better bang for the buck, but we know... sometimes the buck is what you want back.

So, please stay tuned and give us a little time to catch up to everyone.

Summer Issue Concerns
As to the concern over the last issue being late, we're actually kinda pleased you noticed.

In a twisted sort of way, your concern certainly vindicates all the midnight oil we've burned over the years in cranking those past issues out on time. The reasons for the late mailing on this last issue are varied and strange, but suffice it to say, we apologize for the delay. We here have to take all the complications that created this delay in stride and try to understand that some things are just not under our control.

The Summer 2007 issue has gone to print, so now it's all up to the printer and the Post Office. We sincerely hope you find our Farewell Issue - the biggest we've ever compiled - to be worth the wait.

Thank you for your patience. And if you're not patient, well... we understand that, too.

Happy Trails,

Rhonda Hart & Alyson Stockham
